Starting as a two-person operation out of New York City in 1911, Frank Reitzas labored at night on his knitting machine, producing fabric that was sold each day by Flora, his equally dedicated wife. After over 100 years in business, this still-growing company continues to operate from the original granite mill in Fall River, Massachusetts, where they moved in the late 1930s. Fall River Knitting maintains traditional New England values by giving personal attention to every sweater it produces - after all, the entire process happens in this building from the knitting of yarns to the cutting, sewing and finishing. The products are not just garments; they are pieces of a storied legacy, woven with care, precision, and pride.
